The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games are set to begin from July 28 to August 8. Athletes from across the globe will be participating in various sports at this mega event. The trial for CWG 2022 has already begun and athletes are giving their best to get qualified.
However, some athletes are going too far to prove their fitness and to make a place in qualifiers. Reportedly, the two times medal winner in Olympics and three times gold medal winner in CWG, Sushil Kumar on Saturday beat his cellmate to prove his fitness for upcoming CWG.
“Olympic gold medallist Sushil Kumar, is currently lodged in Tihar Jail in connection with a murder case and there he is beating his prison inmates to get qualified for CWG” officials told The Fauxy
Jailers are afraid of taking any action against Sushil Kumar seeing his fitness and punches that he landed on prison inmates. Police has written letter to the state government to allow Sushil Kumar in trials of CWG else he will not leave anyone alive here.
