As India prepares for the fourth and final Brisbane Test with the series tied 1-1, the team has become a multi-specialty hospital having patients with all kinds of injuries. With Jasprit Bumrah, Hanua Vihari, Rishabh Pant, Mayank Agarwal, and Ashwin joining the injured players India can’t afford to lose one more player in the fourth test, and even if one of the playing eleven players gets injured, the team won’t be able to finish the five-day-test. Seeing the seriousness, the BCCI President, Saurav Ganguly, who himself had surgery last week, has sent a team of eleven doctors to take care of playing eleven individually at the fourth test in Brisbane Gabba.
Sources say that even the net practice ahead of the fourth test was a formality as the coach was apprehensive about any more players getting injured. BCCI has also signed a contract with a pan relief manufacturer for an unlimited supply of pain relief spray during these 5 days of the test match.
Speaking to The Fauxy, coach Ravi Shastri said “We are 1-1, I had one peg, you also had one peg.. Sorry you asking about match.. ? If we come back India safely with no more injury consider us won”.
“That’s why it’s called dressing room, at any point of time at least one player’s injury dressing is going on,” said Ricky Ponting on the issue.
